Dr. Cole Burrack
Dr. Cole Burrack is originally from a farm near Arlington, Iowa. He graduated in May of 2013 from Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Then started at MVC in June of the same year. He is now a lead veterinarian and one of the co-owners to the clinic.
Dr. Burrack and his wife Kara have two wonderful boys, Axel and Callym. They are often found taking care of their sheep or collecting eggs from the ever-increasing backyard chickens.
He brings a passion for veterinary medicine to the Monticello Vet Clinic. He really enjoys meeting people and their animals because many of them have a unique bond they share.
Dr. Mark Duffy
Dr. Mark Duffy joined the veterinary practice in 2017 after graduating from Iowa State with his DVM.
Mark lives in Monticello with his wife, Courtney, son, James, and their two dogs, Bonnie and Betty.
Dr. Duffy has pursued an interest in small animal orthopedic surgery and continues to expand on the types of procedures offered to clients.
Dr. CJ Fitzgerald
Dr. CJ Fitzgerald began working at the Monticello Vet Clinic after earning her DVM from Iowa State University in May of 2020. While in vet school, she also completed her Masters of Public Health in the combined DVM/MPH program with Iowa State University and the University of Iowa.
She and her husband Jake are both originally from Springville, IA and are excited to move back to their hometown.
Dr. Fitzgerald is passionate about helping people and is eager to be a part of such a great community.
Dr. Jayme Freye
Dr. Jayme Freye grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, but her roots are here in Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Freye came to the Monticello Veterinary Clinic in June of 2014 as an associate veterinarian. She is currently a lead veterinarian and co-owner of the clinic.
She resides in Monticello with her husband, Tyler, and daughters; Breleigh, McKenna and Ryleigh. They have a family dog Madison, a German Shorthair Pointer.
Dr. Freye’s favorite aspect of MVC is getting to do a little bit of everything. “Every day is different and I get to work with our fantastic clients.”
Dr. David Lange
Dr. David Lange joined us in September 2019. He assists us part-time with our small animal patients a few days per week. He graduated from Augustana College in 1984 with a B.A. degree and then in 1993 from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. With his years of experience, we are very fortunate to have his expertise & knowledge.
He currently resides in Cascade with his wife, Cassi. He and his wife are parents to five children Andy, Abby, Libby, Madeline and Gabe. They also have several family pets. Two Maremma’s Merry and Pippin; two cats Fuzzy and Jarvis; as well as their horses Shady and Twinkle and Rosie their donkey.
Helping people and their pets is one aspect Dr. Lange enjoys about working at the Monticello Vet Clinic. Another aspect is working with good people.
