Monticello Veterinary Clinic unfortunately is not equipped to be an emergency pet hospital. However, we will work with current clients who are dealing with a pet emergency. Our staff is available to help, assess and advise in situations based on the information presented.
To reach the veterinarian on call after normal business hours call our office number and follow the prompts. The veterinarian or veterinarian technician will answer and ask you important questions about what is happening. This will help them determine the course of action needed to assist your animal. This may lead to steps to take overnight, a trip for treatment, or even a referral to an emergency hospital who would have more resources available to help.
After hour visits are cash/credit at the time of service and will be higher than an office visit during regular weekday office hours. Here are some emergency hospitals we suggest using.
